Metallic Metaballistic Membrane 1995

Metallic Metaballistic Membrane is a cooperation between 2 dancers, 1 artist and 1 architect in 1995.

The movement of the dancers is repeated 3 times and tracked by 2 video-cameras. A computer analyzes the difference of these 3 movements in time, thus creating a solid object that represents a triangle of difference in erratic negative space.

The elegance of the movement is frozen in time, amplified into large amounts of matter and unfolded into 20 tons of aluminum to be seen at the UN-palace in Geneva.
